Why does Guidexpress need access to the location of your phone?

GuideXpress requires access to your phone's location to give you a complete and personalised exploration experience. The app needs to geolocalise you to act as your guide, telling you the story of the points of interest around you and enabling features such as Discovery Mode, Tour and Treasure Hunt.

Enable Location Services on Your Phone

To use all these features, you need to enable location services on your phone. Follow these instructions to enable location services:

On iPhone:

  1. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services.

  2. Make sure that Location Services is turned on.

  3. Scroll down to find the app.

  4. Tap the app and select the "Always: allows access to your location even when the app is in the background" option.

On Android:

  1. Go to Settings > Apps.

  2. Find the GuideXpress app and tap on it.

  3. Tap Permissions.

  4. Tap Location.

  5. Select "Allow all the time".
