Overview

Discover the different modes of exploration offered by GuideXpress to make your trip unique.

GuideXpress accompanies you on every trip, telling you the history and interesting facts about the points of interest you visit. Thanks to geolocalisation, the app detects your location and automatically provides you with detailed information when you approach monuments, museums and other places of interest.

With GuideXpress you can immerse yourself in the culture and history of cities in a unique and personalised way, making every visit an unforgettable experience.

In the next section, we will explore all the exploration modes offered by the app, allowing you to choose the experience that best suits your needs and preferences.

Discovery Mode

The first exploration mode we would like to introduce you to is Discovery Mode. This mode allows you to roam freely around the city without following a predefined route. When you approach a point of interest, the app automatically begins to tell you, via audio, about the history and other curiosities of the place.

By default, audio activation is automatic. However, if you prefer an exploration where you decide when to start the audio, you can use the tool to deactivate the automation. This topic will be covered in detail in the next article, ‘Learning Tools’.

Tours

The second exploration mode is called Tours. This mode allows you to choose from thematic tours in the app for each active location. Once you have chosen a Tour, you will see the entire route to follow, taking you from one point of interest to another. Again, audio activation will be automatic when you approach a point of interest. You can always change this setting if you prefer to have manual control.

Guided trails

The guided trails feature helps you follow pre-mapped routes right inside the app, ideal for walking, hiking, or exploring the outdoors. As you progress, GuideXpress provides step-by-step directions while sharing insights about the natural surroundings, cultural highlights, and scenic spots you pass along the way.
